#WorldFruitProduction went up 54% between 2000 and 2020, to 883 million tonnes, which represents an increase of 311 million tonnes. Five #fruit#species accounted for 57% of the total production in 2020, down from 63% in 2000: #bananas and #plantains (18%), #watermelons (11%), #apples (10%), #oranges and #grapes (9% each).
