Commercial Banks: Only 1 Billion in Smallholder Farmer Support

Only 1 #Billion from #Banks -Of the shortfall of $179 #billion in #financial support needed by #smallholder #farmers around the world and of $50 billion that does make its way to smallholder farmers, only about $1 billion comes from #commercial #banks. The rest comes from state supported financial #institutions, #social lenders, #NGOs, micro-lenders, and other such non-traditional #sources.
