For the 10-year period beginning with fiscal year 2024, the Congressional Budget Office (#CBO) projects total outlays for #USDA Mandatory Farm Programs, Conservation Programs, and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (#SNAP) total approximately $1.5 trillion, an increase of nearly 65% or $559 billion from the score of the 2018 Farm Bill at enactment, and 10%, or $126 billion, higher than the May 2022 10-year baseline projections.
